We are committed to Web standards and accessibility. All new sites designed by MacAvon Media Productions conform to W3C standards, using XHTML, CSS and DOM scripting. We endeavour to reach the highest levels of accessibility, and try to ensure that all our sites conform to at least level double-A of the WAI Content Accessibility Guidelines.
We regret, however, that some of the sites we designed in earlier years fall short of our current standards. Our old business site, www.macavon.co.uk will be brought up to full standards-compliance as we integrate it more closely with macavon.com. The support site for the 2nd editions of Digital Multimedia and Digital Media Tools is a product of its time and the tools used to create it. A new site, digitalmediatools.org, will be created for the 3rd edition of Digital Media Tools during the early part of 2007. Digital Multimedia will continue to be supported by digitalmultimedia.org, which will be revised to conform to all relevant standards as soon as possible, but no later than early 2008.
If you experience any accessibility problems with our sites, please let us know and we will rectify matters.
Every day we are pleased to receive visitors from all around the world, but we realize that for many visitors English is not your first language. We hope that you will not find our sites too hard to understand. Unfortunately we cannot provide a translation service ourselves, but Google's service may help you.
